What do you love about Korea?
I’m sure we all know what annoys us about Korea. And if I had a hundred won for every time I heard someone complain about their hagwon, their hagwon and …their hagwon, well, I wouldn’t have to work here anymore, that’s for sure. But, grumbling is banned from this sentence forward! We’re not interested in your sob stories. We want stories that are positive, funny and inspiring. Stories that will make you laugh, smile, even cry, when you remember the experience that is Korea!
As soon as we get enough submissions, we aim to group them all together and publish a small, free magazine that would be available to ex-pats and Koreans alike. Of course, we can’t do it without your help. So get writing guys! All contributions will be greatly appreciated so don't worry if you're not the best wordsmith in the world. We have people on-hand willing to trim, tweak (but not twist) anything you send in. So, when you get five minutes, write a little ditty and send it to Alison and Eamon at: saykimchi123@gmail.com (Don’t forget to include your name and contact details, if you want to be acknowledged.) We look forward to reading what you have to say. Happy writing!
