Isn't it funny how anytime a new girl joins iluvkorea, about 3 or 4 of the exact same guys immediately send them the exact same "copy and paste" message - not at all paying attention to if they have anything at all in common with that person?

I thought it was funny... in a pathetic sort of way, haha.

yea, its quite the "norm" in ANY forum I see these days. Sad really.
Tells you how desperate and "needy" guys are. That one of the many reasons why I left Canada, cause all my guy friends keep on asking me for a "Korean girl" when in reality, I was never really into Korean girls, cept for friendship wise.... *shrug*

well, I'm interested in remaining in Korea and dating Koreans.... but my character is in synch with korean character, and I like korea... so if I see someone that happens to be in my area, or a teacher, or have similar interests or something - I'll send a message...

but I mean come on. These guys are sending messages to anything that is female and breathing.

but to be fair, most people on these sites don't follow up beyond the initial "hey, nice to meet you"

none of my lasting friends in korea has been from any of these sites.
