Brian

Me-"My Name Is Brian and I am Looking For A Job." You-"Hi Brian!"

So some of you might be laughing already thinking "wow, this guy can't get a job? That's like going to an aquarium and not being able to find any fish." Well it is a bit more complicated than that.

I have done the whole working in the esl industry in Korea thing and I am tired of scattering my resume with random one year positions. I'm looking for a career and looking to expand my professional responsibility more than just "teaching 4th grade reading."

Here is how you can help, should you choose to...and you should. Let me know if you know of any atypical positions. What do I mean by that? Here is the kind of thing I am looking for:

-Specialized English instruction-teaching specialized English to airline/hotel workers
-Teacher Training
-Adult teaching (non-split shift)
-Writing/Editing
-International correspondence/PR
-Tourism/hospitality related positions
-Other

I have been checking the typical websites-worknplay, daves, etc. but the postings are few and far between. I have a theory that there is an underground job market in Korea where all jobs are passed by mouth to ear and personal connections.

Don't think that you will not be rewarded for helping me out either. When I get the kind of job I am looking for, I'll take you to get some awesome food and will be willing to bring you whatever you want from the States.

If any of you are interested in working in Thailand or China, please feel free to message me and I'll be willing to let you know the resources I have used in the past.
