I thought we should start a thread about non-teaching job potential in Korea. It is kind of sad that people's first impressions of South Korea are based on their crappy experience at their hakwon, which makes them never want to go back again. Some people might enjoy teaching English, however I cannot help but think there must be potential for people who want to stay to engage in non-teaching jobs.

So let's post people:

-What are some common, full-time non-teaching positions a foreigner could acquire?

-What are the best resources for helping someone to get a non-English speaking job?

-What companies traditionally hire foreigners?

-What can you do to best prepare yourself for that position?
