Hello there. My name is JAy. I am a Korean-American gyopo. I lived in America for 26 years and now I live in Korea. I actually live in Ilsan to be exact. I am currently teaching English at a private institute. I have been living in Korea for 2 years now and can also speak and understand Spanish and Korean as well. I came to this website to make some new friends. Well, hope to hear from you soon! Delete Comment
No problem - I totally understand. This week is so busy and stressful for me :/ Finals are coming up, so I have three papers, a quiz, and a presentation to do this week...which probably explains why I'm procrastinating, haha ^^;; I tend to do procrastinate a lot :)) Other than that, I just spent the weekend at Seoul Forest with a friend. How about you?
hey how are you?
i saw your post on the discussion forum :D
i just came back from Canada few weeks ago.
n im also staying in Noksapyeog too:D
nice to meet you!! ^-^
hope to hear from you soon~
I enjoy it... I'm nearing the end of my second year here. I'll be starting grad school here in Feb. so I've got another 2 1/2- 3 years here. How about you?
If you wanna meet up sometime, just let me know.
I saw your post on the friendship exchange, and wanted to introduce myself.
I currently live in Washington, DC but I am moving to Korea in August. I would also love to have more girlfriends to hangout with! I grew up all my life in America so I am nervous about the culture shock. I am fluent in Korean, but I never socialized with other Asians.
Oh cool :) I really want to come back next summer to teach english.
I really enjoy the city - it's very different from back home where I live in a small town near St. Louis, MO. Haha, it's so much safer (I wouldn't feel safe walking around STL at night...or ever taking the bus/subway) and the transportation system is sooooo convenient. Plus, there are so many more sights to see. I think all we have in STL is the arch. I also go to school in a rural town back home, so it was definitely a change for me. Plus, I'm meeting the entire other half of my family, which is astounding to me. How are you enjoying the city so far?
Oh, you're going to start a new job... That's cool.... :)
MM...I haven't been doing either.... It's just as usual.....
Go to school and back home.... GO and BACK...
Well.... I'm goning to Shincheon this saturday with my friend...
Actually, I don't go to Seoul often.... I can do whatever i want in Incheon....
It's more convenient than Seoul i think... Seoul is soooo busy and crowded, but it's fun and exciting though....... :D
Hey Linda, thanks for the add :) I've only been here since March as a study abroad student, so I'm still getting used to Seoul. Anyway, how come you came to Korea? I see that you moved here with your fiance, are one/both of you teachers? Or is he stationed here? Well, it's nice meeting you and hope to hear from you sometime.
Hello~~~~ Nice to meet you... That's exactly what i want....
I also want to have new friends :D You live in Seoul? I live in Incheon which is near seoulbut exactly it's not quite close... anyway, it doesn't matter...
